Dr. Huston is a Professor and Beef Extension Veterinarian at the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her focus is on safeguarding agriculture through the promotion of cattle health and livestock emergency management. She serves as the coordinator for the state Beef Quality Assurance program and the CVM Animal Disaster Response team.
